The Allain Family

When Shannon reached out to me, I was already overbooked for fall with many families eagerly anticipating their galleries so they could order their holiday cards.  Sadly, I had to turn away a few families who were looking for holiday card sessions, but when Shannon explained that she didn’t need the images for their card, that was a game changer!  It had been several years since they had pictures taken and she was looking to update their family portrait in their newly remodeled family room.

The only date that worked for us was the Wednesday before thanksgiving break.  We chose a farm close to their home, and one that I was familiar with.  The weather was unseasonably warm and the sunset was simply perfect.

Shannon did let me know that some of her boys may be a bit reluctant to have their picture taken (teenagers…).  I told her not to worry about it one bit.

To say that I adore this session is an understatement!  The reluctant boys were amazing to work with, some of the poses made me feel like a fashion photographer, working with Abercrombie or Polo models!  Mom & Dad did great as well!

I can’t wait to see these images are displayed in their new family room.
