Hay Y’all – we are moving!
So here goes nothing…. yes, the rumors are true, we are moving to Charlotte, NC at the end of July…
First, let me start off by saying THANK YOU! Thank you to all of you who have been on this crazy journey with me – my family, friends, clients and clients who became friends. It has been an honor to share in your family’s lives and document your memories over these many years.
Why Charlotte and why now? As much as we love it here, my husband received a great opportunity with his company and after reevaluating everything, we just could not pass it up. It made sense from many perspectives, but most importantly, it was right for our family! I am looking forward to slowing down life a little bit for my kids and for both of us to be there for them as they grow and mature into young adults.
And yes, it means that I will have to build my business again, but I am up for the challenge and am ready with all that I have learned so far. (know anyone in Charlotte who may be looking for a photographer?!?!?!?)
But wait… don’t count me out just yet!
Many of my NJ clients have been with me supporting me through every step along the way for the last 8 years, and have helped make Images by Rita what it is today. I have become used to seeing many familiar faces year after year and have enjoyed watching your families grow and feel privileged to have have shared special and everyday moments with all of you through my viewfinder. I can’t imagine not seeing some of you on a yearly basis and missing any future moments, so I’m excited to announce that beginning September 1, 2016, Images by Rita will be offering photography services in two locations – the greater Charlotte, NC area and Northern/Central NJ.
My first trip back has already been scheduled for the end of August and I plan on being back once a month in September, October and November for Seasonal Fall Mini Sessions. I will be announcing my trips in advance on my FB page and website – so stay tuned.
I will be taking the end of June, July and some of August to pack, move and get settled in, so it may be quiet here for a few weeks, but please don’t forget to check in once in a while for updates and to see what I am up to.
So this is not a good bye, but a see you soon, (really soon).
